VoiceOver ARGH!!!

I have an iPad which has been logged out of iCloud and thus is asking for a password every few seconds!!!! To make matters much worse VoiceOver was activated by a little darling and I am completely unable to do anything on the fe*king thing!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!! Is almost impossible to even unlock it. Can't swipe up to get activity center to turn wifi back on so i can control it with LightSpeed MDM again!!

 

Just letting off steam here will googe how VoiceOver works when i've calmed down a bit!!!

First understand that once in voiceover, your ipad will act differently to gestures. If you can't get past your "slide to unlock" screen, you need to double tap it rather than sliding it. Next, if your passcode screen comes up, first tap the first number of your passcode, the voice will tell you which number you pushed, now double tap it and it will accept that number, then tap the second number of your passcode and the voice will acknowledge that you have tapped that number, then doub;e tap it, do this for the next two numbers (remember, tap it first, hear it acknowledge you have tapped it, then double tap. That will get you to your home screen. Now ask Siri to turn off voiceover and she will, OR, go to settings (double tap the settings button AFTER tapping it once and hearing the acknowledgement that you tapped it), then scroll down using 3 fingers, to find general, double tap, then accessibility and you should see voiceover which you can slide off.

 

It says that in the settings but if you can't get into settings... Should have looked on another iPad. Well the above worked. PHEW! Really horrible trick to play on iOS owners!!
