Fortinet AV - Anyone use it?

Does anyone use Fortinet AV - Anti-virus, Anti-Spyware Solutions - Malware Protection | Fortinet

 

We currently use Sophos via our ISP but if we move ISPs then we need to find another AV provider.

 

Opinions on Fortinet AV?

This was a problem for one site I knew that switched.

What happens if it's installed on a staff laptop which doesn't connect to its home network regularly?

I think it's cloud based so no appliance on site so I guess the staff laptop could connect regardless of where it was.

Do you offer FortiMail too? I know you can provide an filtered SMTP feed but it looks as though FortiMail integrates with Office365 and wondering whether @SchoolsBroadband support this along with the AV offered?

We can sell you FortiMail but don't directly support it at the moment as we haven't had the call for it. If you wish to purchase it via us though then we'd be happy to pass on a quote for any requirements and I suspect we'd give you a decent discount too as personally I'd be interested to get feedback on the product from an end customer. PM me if you'd like me to do that for you.

You can tie FortiClient into FortiEMS (virtualised central management) or Fortigate (firewall). We will offer both versions.

 

As soon as it's ready I'll let you know but shouldn't be long now.

No we went with Sophos Cloud in the end.
