Display Name on domain folders

Hi

I work in a school and im trying to make it so staff can see the students user spaces but with the display name rather than the students username.

In our share we have the students folders but they are listed as the username (S12ajblo - S:student 12:year started a:form then first initial and first 3 letters of surname) obviously this is no good for staff so I wondered if there is a way to show the display name from AD e.g Joe Bloggs within the explorer window?
