Edu-IT Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I've set the power options on a laptop to Never for everything I can find, however, when playing a DVD in full screen mode the display still goes off. Any ideas why?
6Foot2 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Are there any power settings in the BIOS you might be able to change? I have disabled sleep on some of our desktop machines in offices as it sometimes causes issues for some users when they return to their station after having locked it to leave their desks.
GuyJD Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Is there a manufacturer power management application that is overriding the windows settings? Also might be worth checking group policy to see if there is anything set in there.
