[ms office - 2013] Pinned documents to the jump list cannot be pinned/unpinned.

Morning all,

 

One of my colleagues are facing a strange Microsoft Office bug.

 

When she attempts to remove a pinned document from the jump list on her Microsoft Office 2013 installation, it wont allow her to, the unpin icon doesn't do anything.

 

It's a strange bug.

 

I have never experienced this before so Google was my first choice of finding a solution, unfortunately a range of people have had this issue with previous versions of Microsoft Office, but not many people have experienced this issue with 2013.

 

This particular colleague has vast amounts of templates, macros and such so re-installing office is a last resort and if it can be avoided it would be appreciated.

 

Any help would be amazing

I have searched trying to limit the results to only Office 2013. While initially promising looking at the individual results they seem to be more about all pinned items. However, this link might be useful [if you haven't tried it already]

There are three options, the first of which you will already have tried.

 

Options two and three both clear all items from the jump list. This may not be what you are looking for, but at least you won't have to re-install Office.
