i could be have a very dim moment.

i have a linx tablet which i want to create a WIM image from.

so i boot a bootpe image from a memory stick (which is 16GB) and run

dism /capture-image /imagefile:D:\image1.wim /capturedir:C:\ /name:linx /scratchdir:d:\ (memory stick is D:)

i keep getting an error that its running out of disk space but the log isnt being specific as to which volume is being filled, the memory stick should be big enough to hold the completed WIM and the temporary files but it gets to 71% and stops.

i have assumed that without the /scratchdir switch dism just dumps the temp files for the wim create on the C:\ ?

the system drive of the bootpe is only 500mb ( which is standard MS)

suggestions?
