Grahambriggs Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Hi Guys and Girls, We have a 2nd Generation board which constantly puts up the calibration screen randomly, at best every 2 min's or so at worst approximately every 40 seconds We're running active manager 5.8.46 and Firmware 3.17 build 3 The board itself was relocated over the summer (was happy beforehand). Would a firmware update help this or do I need to look at other things, The power cable connector appeared to be damaged at some point so we are currently using a replacement. Thanks for the thoughts, Have a good day. Graham PS Today i've tried using different USB ports so will see how this goes.
phillyrovers Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Hi Graham, There are a lot of questions that would help in telling us what is going on. The first is: when you are not touching the board with the pen, what colour is the light at the top left? The answer to this could lead us anywhere, so if you could answer that initially we can start looking at it. Thank you 1
Grahambriggs Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Hi Phillyrovers, The light in the corner is a dim white when your not touching the board and a bright white when your touching it with a pen. Thanks Graham
phillyrovers Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Hi Graham, The colours on that board are not what we would classify as "normal". It might be worth a firmware update, though the worrying aspect is the potential damage caused by the power connector. You will need to contact our support team with the serial number of the board so that they can send you the correct firmware and instructions. Thank you 1
