[sims] Individual Report Grade Counts

Any idea how to do this in Individual Report?

 

Head wants the following on a grade card with each student's results.

 

- Did they get 5A*-C plus English and Maths?

- How many A*-C grades did they get?

- VA Score

 

Needs to be a fairly quick way of doing it as I have to do this for last year's exam results and update the figure every assessment period, about four per year group. I haven't a clue how to pull this into a report though!

Two Ways. Create three aapects in SIMS and type them in anld then pull thiose values into the report.

 

Or

 

Build a template that calculates whether they have passed Eng A*-C based on the points value. The same for Maths. Then all the other subjects etc. You can then do counts and work out whether they passed the headline measure.

 

VA might be more of an issue though

I pull in my 4Matrix columns into Sims specifically to produce war board type individual reports including progress 8 scores. No help at all though if you don't use 4matrix, sorry.

Ohhh I do use 4Matrix! Which ones do you pull in?

Value Added target has a column filled in with EM which you could use. It also has value added (I don't use these though). I use the Progress 8 screen to import the progress 8 screen and Results Overview would give number of A*-Cs.
