Hi all, apologies if this should be under another section. Has anyone had issues with connecting scan to email function to smtp.office365.com through a Palo Alto firewall and won? We've tried loads but not getting far with it. At the moment we've tried SMTP connections straight out and through a relay but got nothing. All ports are open for the rule and Gmail is working through adding in an IP but even doing that with O365 nothing happens.

Any one else using this setup?

Better off using an internal relay server authenticated by IP address rather than going straight from the copiers. We do it here and works well :)

Cheers guys, did you have to open any specific ports apart from 25 and 587? We were advised by out provider to add further external DNS servers in. Any chance you had to do this too?

I have a NAT policy and matching security rule locked down to SMTP service. On Office 365 you have to add the external address in as trusted.

I've also used Postfix as the server rather than IIS. More reliable and gives me mail stats nightly so I can see what's being sent.
