Salary: - £24,000

Reporting to: IT Network Manager

Description:

1st / 2nd Line Support / Projects – Windows 7 / Server 2008 / Exchange 2010 / SQL / C#

It’s an exciting time to be joining the IT team of this well-established logistics company. The business has been running for over 80 years and their success has been fuelled by their excellent reputation and customer service. Their traditional values are complimented by their innovative technology, which keeps the business ahead of its competition. We are about to embark on new projects within the IT department, so need a new person to join them.

You will be responsible for 1st line support across 7 UK sites. You will be taking calls and resolving issues via remote access; visiting the other UK sites, as well as visiting customer offices.

The company is looking for someone who will grow with the business and take on more responsibility to move up the ranks over time. As such, they will invest into your personal development, offering training and the opportunity to go on courses.

Due to the ‘round-the-clock’ nature of the business, it is essential that you are punctual and reliable. You would need to be ‘on call’ one week per month – this would mean having your company laptop and mobile on when you are at out of the office.
