Windows 10 SCCM Deployment problems

Hi All,

 

I am looking at deploying Windows 10. I have setup a build and capture task sequence. However, when it gets to setting up Windows and Configuration Manager, it starts the process then restarts the VM which is doing the B&C and stops the task sequence. It does not display any error message.

 

If anyone can help at all that would be great.

I would wait until the system is a bit more mature in all honesty, unless there are features that you need.

I'm assuming you have updated to the latest version of Config Manager? I think you need to be on 2012 R2 SP1.

Yeah I updated to R2 SP1, I've got past this issue now, I just updated the client package. But now it seems to just freeze when running SYSPREP. Anyone got any ideas?

Use MDT instead.

Have you also updated your boot images? This is done separate.

 

I captured a Windows 10 image using the capture media and it worked just fine.

Yeah, I've got it sorted now and managed to capture a Windows 10 image. It was just a case really of making sure everything was up to date and re running the task sequence.
