POST TITLE: IT Support Technician

 

DEPARTMENT: City of London School

 

SALARY: £26,640 - £30,030 p.a. inc. of all allowances (depending on experience/performance

 

We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable, flexible and enthusiastic full-time IT Support Technician to work across the school, helping to expand and enhance the IT & AV provision in both academic and administration capacities.

You should have proven experience and good interpersonal skills. You must be a team player, able to work to high standard.

You will provide 1st line/2nd Line technical support for all IT, AV and repro equipment and be the first point of contact for students and staff. You will be expected to troubleshoot and escalate issues to 3rd line support.

You will have in-depth working knowledge of using and supporting recent versions of Microsoft Office 2013+, Windows 7+, Internet & Email applications. You should have experience of working with IT and AV equipment and a basic understanding of computer networking.

You will be required to work a 35 hours per week. Hours will be day time Monday – Friday but actual hours may vary, dependent upon the needs of the service.

Closing date: 12 noon on 5 October 2015.
