win Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I created a vm and then the shortcut for it. Then moved the folder housing the VM to a new machine. When running the shortcut it says - there is no machine with the identifier. The only way it works is if i reimport the machine from the C drive first. unfortunately - students can't access the C drive so can't reimport it, and they can't access the main program to import anyway. Did anyone need to set extra permissions? For now I have given students full access to the folders on the C drive for both program and VM, but still no joy
