Patrick Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Noticed something a little strange since coming back from our jolly hols. The old proxy wwwcache.cleo.net.uk seems to active again. It's not an issue or anything, just a bit odd, i thought they switched it off for good. I found out by a logging into an older machine using local account that had the proxy saved. Wonder what BT are up to with that? Also, FTTC is here for one of my schools!
Cache Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) It never stopped working for us in cumbria Edited September 3, 2015 by Cache
jhothersall Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Same problem here with the old lancngfl proxy setting can access any site .. proxy bypass sites work and facebook .. Call logged
Valsh Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Yeah, strange one that. It actually exposed some old registry settings that hadn't been cleaned up from when I removed the proxy the first time around, https timeouts and RDP being slow on starting due to checking certs through the proxy on select number of clients. Bamboozled me for a while. 1
Patrick Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 It's still working for me, however it is filtered through lightspeed.
