Papercut - Virtual Printer Queue For FollowMe Print Solution

Hi All,

 

I'm looking for some advice, we have got a virtual FollowMe print queue, which is currently using a Sharp MFD driver.

However, we have now added 3 Konica Minolta copiers 2 of which have finishers connected to them.

 

What is the best driver to use on the virtual queue which will be compatible with all of the MFDs and allow use of the finishers?

Just what I thought... must solution I have thought of it a single MFD queue for the Sharp and then another queue for the Konica Minolta machines??

Yes when you have devices with advanced features such as the finishers you really need all the ones available to the queue to be the same so you can use and advanced driver.

 

I used to have different printers and I think used an HP driver but this was without needing advanced features.

Have you looked at using the PaperCut Global Print Driver? I haven't used it but it sounds like what you're after: Global Print Driver
