Exchange 2013 Not Sending to Google?

I decided to start a new thread, rather than carry the other one on as this is a new issue.

 

I cannot send outgoing emails to GMAIL accounts. I can send to other domains, and gmail CAN email into the Exchange server.

 

When running SMTPdiag, the following is shown:

 

Currently sick to the back teeth of Exchange! HELP! :'(

I think gmail isn't open on 25 as it requires encryption. Try on 465 (ssl) or 587 (tls).

Hello, still no luck there with a manual telnet test on those ports!

You're not blocking Google in anyway are you?

Are you blacklisted by google? Email Blacklist Check - See if your server is blacklisted

I'm not blocking, not that I can tell anyway. I can access google from a browser etc.

 

Not on any blacklists either.

Can you manually telnet to alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com and smtp.gmail.com port 25 on both? (From any pc on the network?) If not would say it's more a firewall/network issue really.

I cannot manually telnet to either from the Exchange server or from another PC in the network.

 

I can't see it being a firewall issue as I CAN telnet to mail.SCHOOLNAME.COUNTY.sch.uk on port 25?

UPDATE: I also cannot ping simply 'google.com'

 

Not too sure if this is of any interest? I CAN browse to the site, however...

Can you ssh into your router and ping 8.8.8.8 from there?

SSH'ing into my router isn't something I can do unfortunately. I think my ISP set the login details and I can't access it.

PROBLEM RESOLVED

Turned out my ISP hadn't opened 25 outbound...
