kermac Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I have recently upgraded to Yosemite and can't run notebook 11. Have heard of a patch but not sure what or how to install. Has anyone done this and what would I need to do? Thanks, Kerry
hallb15 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I've just stumbled into this issue. There was a patch which allowed notebook 11.4 to run on Mavericks, but according to SMART you have to have at least 14.2 to run it on Yosemite. I found an article which suggested copying a Ruby 1.8 folder from a mac running Mavericks. Running SMART Notebook 11.4 on OS X Yosemite | Luke Arms I haven't had chance to test it as this is a staff member's own MacBook pro and I don't know enough about rolling back to previous versions of OSX to attempt it right now.
