[sims] MIGRATION :-|

So my current environment for SIMS is broken, according to CAPITA, and patches wont apply etc. (I won't go into detail) so I'm now having to migrate SIMS to a new server.

 

I'm going to upgrade from 08R2 to 2012 in the process, and I just wanted your advice to how much RAM/Drive space I should need?

 

There are approx 300 students and 50 members of staff.

 

 

On a side note, I think I'll be paying CAPITA for the migration, unless anyone has any tips and can reassure me it's fairly simple?

Its fairly simple, I tested it on a VM before the move and took my time and things are working now. I just had to get our LA to install Solus3. Ive still got discover to move across.

That's a pretty red flag. Just pay Capita\LA\someone to move it
