IT Engineer

Rate of pay: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

We are seeking to appoint a confident and suitably qualified/experienced IT engineer to become part of our IT Support team. Your work will include supporting the ICT network infrastructure and PC hardware across the school, assisting in the management of the network, installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting PC faults, and installing applications and software.

 

You will provide classroom support for students and technical support for teachers both at Woolwich Poly and possibly in the local primary schools.

 

For the right candidate this will be a challenging and extremely rewarding role.

 

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of a good standard of literacy (oral and written) and numeracy, and be well organised and be confident in the presence of others, and demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness.

 

Whilst previous experience of working in a school environment is not essential (training will be provided), we are keen to recruit people who are confident, keen and reliable in providing a wide range of support across the school.
