IMPERO: Applied windows updates and now internet takes 3-5 minutes to start working ?

We are currently using version 5.003 of impero.

We have a VDI solution that up until yesterday was working fine. Yesterday we applied 6 months worth of windows updates (yes i know) to the master image and at the same time updated the impero client from 4.2.14 to 5.003. Now, whenever we log onto one of the VDI machines it takes anywhere between 3-5 minutes for the internet to work. After about 3-5 minutes it starts working fine.

If I remove the impero client from the master VDI image then there are no issues with the internet. If I uninstall 5.0.0.3 and install 4.2.14 the the issue is still there. Again, removing the impero client fixes the issue. I have also enabled and disabled the impero proxy to no effect. So, I can only assume that there is a windows update that is incompatible with impero?

 

We specify a proxy to access the internet but when trying to access google or bbd for example we get a ReadResponce() error

 

We are using Windows 7 and IE 10.
