Editing the Office 365 Navigation Bar

Hi all,

 

Is anyone familiar with editing/setting what appears globally on the O365 Nav bar for students/staff.

 

We want to remove the tiles for things like Yammer, Video etc. After a quick Google it says you can hide Yammer/Sites by checking a radio button in the Sharepoint settings. After doing this it's cleared the Sites tile but the Yammer tile is still present!

 

Ideally we'd like it to just show Mail, Calendar, People, OneDrive and the online Office apps!

 

Surely there must be a way of managing what appears and what doesn't?

I don't think you can currently do it for all users. Individual users can remove tiles, but that's not ideal.
