gaz350b Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I knew updates could be set to distribute to other clients but Don't recall any info coming out about this option in windows update to also allow updates to be sent to machines on the Internet and it's set on by default!!

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ; [b]Delivery Optimization[/b] ; 0 = Off ; 1 = Get updates from Microsoft and PCs on my local network ; 3 = Get updates from Microsoft and PCs on my local network and PCs on the Internet (default for Home & Pro) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DeliveryOptimization\Config] "DODownloadMode"=dword:00000001
