Glad to hear the factory reset has improved your note's performance. Right now I'm contemplating whether to stick with iphone or make the move to Android. I'm thinking I'll probably either go for an iPhone 6S or maybe something like the upcoming Nexus 5 model which is rumoured to be announced in a couple of months time.

As others have suggested if you want to go down the iphone route in future it's definitely worth waiting a month or two to get your hands on the iphone 6s. The inevitable cpu/gpu/memory/camera spec upgrades are always welcome but I'm thinking the the 'force touch' feature could potentially be quite a big deal. Granted, it could turn out just to be another marketing gimmick but it sounds like it will bring a whole raft of useful features and gestures.

I was messing around a windows phone earlier (Nokia 930) and got on alright with it.

May make a jump to a windows phone next. Might have try a windows phone next.

Force Touch looks interesting but really we could all do similar if iOS allow us to simply hold our finger on the icon to launch settings.

I had a 920 and it was a good phone but I fear MS is losing the plot with WP which is why I went back to iOS

Regarding Samsung phones, I have seen so many issues previous ones (Note 1/2 personally) I would fear buying into them again but I know others have had no issues.

The new iphone 6s will be released in about 30 days so best wait for that first.

There is a new one every September.
