Possible DNS issue- Slow Web Page Loading

As of yesterday we migrated our main DC from server 2003 to a new 2012 R2 box. As part of the process we moved DHCP and DNS to the new box before demoting the DC to a member server ready for switching off and all roles look correct with no errors showing. My issue is that even after changing all static network settings to reflect the change in DNS server IP address on all servers and flushing the DNS resolver cache on the clients, web pages are taking over 30 seconds to load where as before migration they were pretty swift. I suspect the issue is DNS related as the internet speed seems fine. The usual checks of nslookup and tracert show fine showing the DNS is resolving but something is slowing the process down.

 

Any ideas as to what the issue might be or how to resolve it would be most welcome.
