HP Compaq D350 keeps blue screening when trying to RIS

I have a dozen HP Compaq D350 computers than i need to create a new image for. These computers have never been imaged using RIS before. I am trying to install just a base image for these and then build an image to push back up to RIS.

 

I can log into the RIS screen, choose my image and then it appears to start imaging but only gets as far as 'preparing to start windows. Then the computer just blue screens with a an error of 'an initialization error occurred while trying to boot from the network'

 

I have tried two computers to rule out one being faulty.

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the bluescreen you get or post the error. I have a few computers here that bluescreen when using RIS due to it picking the wrong set of drivers. I have yet to fix this as it is only 2 machines i just install xp manually.

I have a feeling it is to do with drivers. The drivers are broadcom and i hate these drivers.

 

Like you i am unsure as what to do att he moment.

Sounds like the broadcom driver issue to me try this

 

The broadcom network drivers need to be added to the i386 folder of the image. These use the B57xx drivers.

 

To ensure their is no interference from an older driver delete any B57xx.pnf, B57xx.sys and the compressed b57xx.sy_ files.

 

The inf file also needs to be edited:
