We used to have board meetings every two weeks, but have scaled back in the past year. Printing is always a huge ordeal and estimating how many board packets are needed always results in wasted paper. So I've been toying with the idea of buying cheap tablets and locking them down into a kiosk mode that only displays the current board packet in pdf form. We live in a fairly affluent neighborhood and while I doubt parents would walk off with the devices, I would still like some safeguard against such an event. Any ideas?

If you use iOS or Android you can at least lock out and remote wipe them potentially and at least on iOS without the accounts password they cant wipe and use them which makes it less desirable to steal.

Would you intend for the relevant parties to take them home to read later as they could with paper or would it just be used inside your network/buildings?
