andydis Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 just took over a site that has been manually adding users to Office 365 (who knows why) question is , if i implement DIRSYNC or AAD Sync , is there a way to migrate the manual created mailboxes to the autocreated one with DIRsync? or do i have to pst them all out , delete them , then DIRSYNC.
Cache Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I think, but not tried it, that when you implement dirsync it should try to do a match based off the email address and then link the existing account up to dirsync. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2641663
gjefferies Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Yes, I had a similar issue, I set the email address attribute for each of the users in Active Directory and the Cloud accounts changed to Sync'd with Active Directory. Thanks Gareth
