Hi,

We have 40+ ipads and I have 90 photos which I want to be on every ipad. The purpose is so that pupils can use the 90 photos with an app (pic collage).

Has anyone ever done anything like this and can recommend the best way of placing these photos on every ipad? I'm trying to share them through the photo stream by downloading them one by one onto the ipad from google drive - But this method takes AGES (as Google Drive only allows you to download 1 image at a time).

Also, ive tried using the photo icloud sharing stuff - but cant seem to find a solution with this (im guessing because shared folders that you own, don't sync over device... and you cant share a folder with yourself so it shows on all devices)..

any ideas?

Best way I reckon would be to use a QR Code for the photos, get the students to use a reader to scan the code for the resources

This app lets you transfer pics and vids between devices- https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/simple-transfer-wireless-photo/id420821506?mt=8

Looks like a nice app, but as we are using more than one VLAN and WLAN, I cannot use that app..

Also, i love that idea about using QR Codes above ^^, may have to suggest that to some teachers for lessons next year...

In the end I figured out I had to:

1) update all ipads to latest ios (8.4 in this case) - They have to all be on same version

2) Log into icloud with same account

3) In Settings>Icloud>Photos, turn on the photo family option (the bottom option)

4) Create a folder in the SHARED tab in the default photos app on the ipad and insert all photos into that folder .(I Had to download all images onto a single ipad first, then move them into the "shared" folder which then syncs over all devices).

Most annoying part of this was having to download all images onto the ipad via google drive 1 by 1. For w/e reason I couldn't drag and drop the images onto the iPad and I couldnt bulk download the images from drive :S - in fairness, it just hit me i could of used the app mentioned above for this stage ><

thanks for suggestions!
