AQA extranet access issues

Hello all,

 

Our exams officer is having all sort of problems access the aqa extranet. Sometime it works fine other times is very slow to not being usable at all its all very intermittent. I have whitelisted the website to bypass HTTPS scanning but it hasn't helped. I'm just wondering if other schools are having the same problem in your school etc.

 

I believe the issue is with their end rather than us because when it works fine and then it doesn't. We don't change the rules on web filtering or firewall so there is no logical explanation other than their servers are under heavy load at certain times??

Try compatibility mode in IE

I believe that changes to the site now require to use Google Chrome.

Thanks for the replies, we actually tried chrome and its the same issue, then their support suggested to use IE only, yes this is their support suggesting that! I'm confused dot com.

 

I've logged a case with them so lets see what happens.

What is the site speed like from say home or on a connection not filtered?

hi,

 

The site is intermittent, we even tried it on unfiltered internet and it was the same sometime it works fine and other time it doesn't. Will try it from home to see what happens.
