This is a new post which offers an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Campus Services team.

 

The Systems Officer post, which sits within the Business Development team, will provide technical support for professional services computer hardware and associated user applications, virtual management software applications e.g. Citrix, VMWare, and network infrastructure.

 

The postholder will work alongside and support a team of System Officer Technicians in the delivery of a pro-active service for students and staff in the business development sections. The successful candidate will have strong technical experience in virtual desktop (Citrix) and server infrastructure (VMware) to maintain and enhance business systems and efficiencies.

 

The postholder will also support work within professional services to provide flexibility and developments in existing and new systems to enable greater provision for students and staff. The post will also support service desk escalation and senior colleagues within Digital Campus Services initiatives.

 

The successful candidate will join the vibrant and creative AUB community in its intentions to excel in the delivery of a flexible, responsive and exciting digital learning and support environment.
