Rules on keeping past pupil images?

Just looking through our server and finding pictures of leavers from 2010 onwards.

 

These arnt on the website but are still held in the staff area.

 

For pupils personal folders i copy them of the main file server onto a archive drive.

 

Is there any rules for images of past pupils?

 

Could save myself alot of server space if there is.

It depends what the photos are of @Galway. We have photos of old pupils archived here, from events and trips etc...

 

They're not just ID photos, but "life of the school" type stuff.

These are mainly school trip photos.

 

Would have to check if there is a need to keep them now. They cant be used on the website as far as im aware so can only be shown to future students as intro to a trip.

 

I know i wouldnt want my photo shown in my school 5 years after i left.
