HELP! Lumia 930

Hi all,

 

Help needed!!

 

I have a Lumia 930 - Turned off earlier now won't come back on - Tried charge on mains for two hours no life, tried hard and soft reset, Tried connecting to computer via USB to life - not seen in device manager.

 

Tried Lumia recovery tool not found.

I would say

 

1) Try holding down volume down button and power on / off buttons together until it vibrates - does that do the same as taking the battery out and re inserting the battery ?

 

2) If number one does not do anything then I would say you have a faulty battery in your handset, if replacing the battery with a known working one does not make any difference then must be a fault with the handset itself because if you have tried a soft / hard reset already and tried charging from different sources ie USB Cable via your laptop and also USB Cable via the mains charger etc

 

Generally when we swap a faulty battery for a known working one , this tends to fix the issue most of the time. If the handset is still the same after swapping the battery and using a known working charger then must be a faulty handset.

Fixed - Leave it off charge overnight then a USB charge for about two hours in the morning brought it back to life!!
