Urgent - Adaptec Raid Controller Software

Hi all,

 

Desperately trying to get hold of a file from the Adaptec website, but it's ruddy useless.

 

In a nutshell I need to add remote monitoring of the RAID setups on our ESXi 5.5 boxes tonight. I just need to add a .vib file to accomplish this, however I can't get it from anywhere.

 

The file is vmware-esx-provider-arcsmis.vib - arcconf.vib is available in every download but not arcsmis.vib.

Anyone got this handy?

Whats the RAID card on the box ?

Adaptec 6805E. I think I may have it - although *all* documentation refers to arcsmis.vib I suspect it's actually vmware-esx-provider-arc-cim-provider.vib

I've got 'aacraid_vmware_drivers_1.2.1-40301_cert.tgz'. That the same as you have ? Haven't unpacked to look inside.

Yeah that's already installed; only provides the drivers but not the CIM provider I'll find out if the above works in 10 minutes!
