Amusingly, Cracked is blocked here :p

I'm with @LosOjos though. I don't buy into it. These girls are clearly confused and disturbed. "People who trust you become very gullible," one girl told police. "It was sort of sad." This is not the thinking of your average 12-year-old girl. Something happened, and it sure as heck wasn't the invention of a fictional horror character. Most of the Slenderman stuff should be blocked anyway as it's either game-related or creepypasta related (which isn't really school work or sites our kids should be using).

The takeaway from that [from the quick look I had]

Collins, who has interviewed Morgan Geyser several times, including last week, said the girl continues to believe in fantasy characters and opposes medication for her condition because she fears it would lead to the loss of her "friends." Geyser reports interacting with various Harry Potter characters and a girl named Maggie, Collins said.

If it wasn't Slenderman, it would have been something else.

Don't let kids dictate which medication they're going to take.

Agreed with the above, I'm not going to ban it because I'm not Mr Cameron and I don't think that everything on the Internet is the cause of something bad happening.
