[sims] Promoting a single student

I have already done the bulk promotion routine but we have a new student who I need to promote into the next year. I tried just adding them to the Group Memberships in Scheme in next years academic year but I cannot assign them a base band (cell is greyed out). Looking at the promotion routine it looks like it wants to start again so I clicked out of it as I don't want to mess up anything I have done already. What is the correct method of getting this started manually so I can assign next years baseband, subbands etc?

I think I managed to do it via the timeline once I clicked on the student in the list. It is flagged but I am able to select subbands etc.

Hi Chris,

 

You can run the Promotion routine again if you have another student that you need to move to the next academic year.

 

When you run through this routine just make sure that you don't have the overwrite boxes checked as you don't want to overwrite the promotion that you have already done previously.

This will then allow you to promote this one extra student.
