File server logs

Hello, we've had someone delete a folder in our student shared area of which contained students work... Luckily I managed to recover it via DPM and have now permissioned the folder so that students can only write to it when the teacher wants them to, does anyone know a way to find out who deleted/modified files?

Do you have Impero or AB Tutor, they have logs.

 

There is a file auditing tool in windows server but you have to turn it on first before it starts logging.
