speckytecky Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Since upgrading to V8.3 several of our iPads have stopped fetching and sending mail from the built in mail button. Clicking on it, it tries to open but after about 30 seconds the screen goes black then returns to desktop. This is happening both out of school and when there. Anyone else experienced this and if so did you manage to resolve the issue?
speckytecky Posted June 12, 2015 Author Posted June 12, 2015 Issue now resolved. I visited the Aople store at Southgate in Bath with the iPad and even though it's 3 years old now they sorted the issue for me. Apparently it's a know issue brought on by updates of the OS. Resolution was by backing up then resetting followed by a restore from the back up.
