mrbios Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I'm not sure how to diagnose this one, for the past few months a company who sends us email invoices regularly gets bounced back with the following message: Your message To: [email protected] Subject: Call reports from Lister Communications Sent: Sat, 6 Jun 2015 10:45:08 +0100 did not reach the following recipient(s): [email protected] on Sat, 6 Jun 2015 10:44:33 +0100 You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator. policy> It says it was rejected by a policy, but i've even tried setting their domain as an exception in the list for my only policy that i use for rejecting emails. I don't get this issue from any other suppliers, only this one. Any ideas?
Michael Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 You sure that message isn't being generated by their Exchange server?
mrbios Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Well I'm not sure to be honest, that's part of what's frustrating me. We are using EOP for filtering so seeing the DB3PR02MB233.eurprd02.prod.outlook.com instantly made me think it was my filtering, i haven't asked them what they're using though, i'll try that.
Michael Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 In theory if they whitelist your domain or your address (at the very least), then it should get through.
