markofealing Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 At my school we are having some debate as to whether WordPad is the most appropriate software for use in public exams where spelling and grammar checkers are not permitted. The issue is that unlike Word it does not autosave work and we have had some instances where pupils work has mysteriously not been saved! What software does your school use? Wordpad Notepad Word 2010 Something else
Steve21 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wordpad Tell them to save it at start, then it's checked and saved to USB drive at end by exam people thingy. If they close it down without saving that's no difference to someones paper magically disappearing Steve
Oaktech Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Office 2013. Tied down very heavilly with local policy, all proofing tools removed. It gets installed with proofing tools not available, then the GPO template gets imported into the local policy snapin and gets tied down tight. I'll see if I can find a list of settings.
