chazzy2501 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 As above, the printing in metro is different from the desktop and as it offers none of the features required to successfully print. It actually stops all printing on the server (for that given printer). The job won't self remove, you can't delete it (typical windows crud of you can't delete a broken job until you fix it) and I have to reboot the server! Even resetting the spooler service won't clear the jobs... Argh! I need solutions.. I'm using Windows 8.1 with Sharp MX printers. (that require PIN numbers to print) ((Not offered in Metro)) Can I disable Metro Printing? Can I force metro apps to use the desktop printing method?
dubsdj Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I would uninstall that app its rubbish. I scripted an uninstall using powershell on my pre image.
