Google Drive and LGFL Filtering

Hi,

 

Has anyone using LGFL filtering managed to get Google Drive desktop client to work reliably? If so would you mind sharing your allowed list? Mine intermittently connects so I imagine there is a list of addresses I need to allow apart from drive.google.com etc

Does your school use proxy authentication? I believe that the Google Drive sync client doesn't support proxy authentication. This link confirms this under the Important Notes: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2589954?hl=en

Hi, not sure if you have already sorted this, but have you checked to see if tcp 5222 is open to talk.google.com as that appears to be a key part that could be stopping it from working?

Hi @mowgli82 its more that it lists the need for TCP 5222 which I don't believe is open automatically, the exception list will only work for accessing sites over TCP 80 and 443.
