steve1882 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Hi, We're under LGFL's network and we're having a nightmare getting gotomeeting.com working properly. We've opened up various links of the site with LGFL (global.gotomeeting.com) but still not having any luck. I was wondering if any other schools under LGFL have managed to login and set up webinars without any problems? Any help with the configuration with LGFL would be much appreciated! Thanks Steve
Zoom7000 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I'm pretty sure GoToMeeting along with other remote access/presentations tools are blocked by default on the LGfL network. In order to get these sites unblocked, the headteacher needs to log on to the support site (support.atomwide.com) and enable catagory 2 remote access. These sites can then be unblocked by any nominated contact via the WebScreen 2.0 controls. 1
steve1882 Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Thanks Zoom. I'm pretty sure our headteacher done this years ago as we had a similar issue getting teamviewer working, which has now been resolved. Will double check on LGFL and get back in contact with them to see what's going on!
rad Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 @steve1882 if you have the Category 2 each nominated contact will have an OTP tag, if you dont have one of these, then you wont have category 2.
michael2k6 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 If it helps, at Advanced Learning, we use Logmein Rescue as a remote connectivity solution, and have to use OTP tags when logging in using the atomwide route in order to support schools behind LGfL. Each person who does this must be named and have an OTP.
