The victim was left fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a number 212 bus in Hoe Street just before 6pm today.... The unicyclist's condition is described as serious. It seems that people did not hesitate: Upon seeing/hearing the accident and then understanding what had happened they went to assist in whatever way they could.

Garacesh Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yet I had to review CCTV yesterday where a kid was being attacked and all the kids just walked by, watching briefly before leaving Humans can be amazing. They can also be vile and selfish. I'm glad the former happened here though. The bystander effect is terrible. Edit: That'll teach me not to refresh the page before commenting

unixman_again Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 It's not against the law to ride a unicycle on the road. I checked with the police a long time ago and, eventually after a couple of weeks, they contacted me and said it's fine. The interesting bit concerns riding at night. You have to have a red light and reflector to the rear and a white light to the front, except a unicycle doesn't have a front and back.
