Sharepoint Online Confusion

Hi all

 

I'm trying to get my head round SharePoint Online storage

 

Part of my plan is to move Home Drives onto OneDrive and use SharePoint Online as departmental shared drives and also plan to replace our VLE

 

What confuses me is the 1TB per site storage limit, seems simple but then it quotes that each users is limited to 500mb storage?

 

It would be nice (how I understood it anyway) you get 1TB per site storage so I could have 1TB storage for say different sites / or Drives for departments

 

Anyone know what the real deal is?

From what I understood from MS is you get 1TB and then an additional 500mb per active user on top of the 1tb

Yep, have just read this on a MS Blog, I think they are moving to 1TB plus 500mb per user soon, it was 10Gb plus 500mb previously.

 

You can have 1Tb per team site and as many as you like so long as you pay for it

 

I had a March 2014 link that mentioned it was 13p per Gb per month
