LukeC Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 My wife was backing up her phone of our new born videos and while she was doing it she pressed delete. She has all photos backed up to one drive but not the videos. Does any one no away of being able to recover these lost videos, as the phone doesn't show as a drive letter in windows.

rich_tech Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 you could try linux based recovery programs like testdisk/photorec, Linux treats USB devices differently to windows I have had some success with it, though I can't vouch for a mobile phone, but if Linux can see it testdisk/photorec can help there.
difinity Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I think the phone needs to be put into mass storage mode before it shows up as a drive letter.
