So, I have a script that backs up our new moodle server, then deletes files older than 7 days from the backup location.

 

Guess what it also does? Deletes the backup script, as it is also older than 7 days.

 

I need a holiday. And a drink.

We've all done it, least now you'll keep the script in your home and the backups in different folder to stop that happening again. Also add a preserve option. Best feature of tidybackups - ensures you always have at least 1 copy regardless of the age, after all, an old backup is better then no backup!

Yup! I've got a backup of the script too, so no real loss, just caused me to scratch my head a bit!
