I payed the higher price for Europa Universalis, looks like a very complex game so looking forward to that.

I've tried to get into EU (3 and 4) several times and for some reason I just can't get the hang of it

EUIV is a fantastic game once you get into it. Almost limitless possibilities. You can pick the same nation 10 times and have an entirely different game each time. Multiply that by the sheer number of nations you can pick, lots of fun.

I have "removed kebab" as albania...rock hard to do. haha. Have to use Gamey mechanics to do it, but worthwhile. I've am in the process of the auld alliance reversed (having france as a vassal being Scotland). Just as hard to do...However I managed to get castile as an ally, have released Normandy, Guyene and Toulouse as vassals, and have been feeding them provinces. France is down to 7 provinces, but still provide a hell of a fight!
