Pencoed Comprehensive School wish to appoint a highly motivated, competent, experienced and enthusiastic individual to co-ordinate the school’s ICT network (administrative and curriculum) and manage whole school ICT technical provision. The school has invested heavily in ICT and has an extensive network of 400+ hosts of mixed platform (Windows & Mac) and a large Server infrastructure.

 

The role will encompass the strategic development and implementation of ICT Systems and to manage and maintain those systems to provide an infrastructure that will support the future ICT needs of the school. Applicants should have extensive experience in network management and proven ability to manage staff and to liaise effectively with colleagues and external suppliers.

 

Applicants should note that a criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
