Two broadband networks - one Workstation with multiple VM machines

Hi Folks.

 

Just looking to see if this is possible to implement.

 

In our school, we have two broadband networks. One is for the main managed curriculum network which has two 'ports' on it - managed network and Legacy network and the other broadband network is initially for an Apple iPad setup.

 

I have a Windows 2011 Server with VMware 10 installed on it with multiple virtual machines and have it all connected to the legacy side of the first broadband connection which works well and does what I want. I must add that we don't actually have a legacy network anymore but I retained the legacy broadband connection for my use on a 'private' network with my department as it allows me to do things I can't do on the managed network

 

The Windows 2011 server acts also as a DHCP/DNS Server for the virtual machines but the second broadband connection also has its own DHCP/DNS server - which at the moment I can't change due to contractual arrangements - against my wishes I might add.

 

What I would like to do - if it is possible - is to 'use' one of the virtual machines and connect it to the second broadband network using a second network card that is in this server.

 

Is it possible to 'separate' virtual machines on this server to use two different broadband connections using different network cards in the server.
