tech-man Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hello I am trying to install SIMS on a computer which has recently been rebuilt using SOLUS 3.9 via AD browse. The computer wont appear via the AD browse and it reports No Computers Found. I am able to browse and find other computers which have never had SIMS, but SOLUS seems to think SIMS is installed on this machine - the computer is not listed in the agent list. Does anyone have any ideas how I can clear this?
ianriley1986 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Are you able to install the SOLUS 3 agent manually by exporting from the deployment server?
Cache Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 In the top right will be a Domain box, if you click on that you can select your domain and enter your admin username/password. Once you've chosen the domain you can then go back through the AD Browse and it should list your computers.
Cache Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Actually - it's just twigged Is it still listed in the agents window? If it is, if you click on it in the bottom right you can either remove it and then it will appear in the AD Browse or you can click Reinstall Agent and it will push it back out to the computer for you providing it has the same name.
neilenormal Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 does my pea brain recall that the computer needs to be in an OU not just in Computers? move it in AD to a temp OU and it might show up. Manual install for one rogue PC might be easiest as already suggested.
